Novice LL#3, 2014-2015, LL (Woolwich Minor Hockey)

Our Wildcats went home with full hands & happy smiles to finish a great season. Thanks to all our families for all your help and support. See you next year at the rink!

Woolwich Wildcats Novice LL3 Championship Playoff Run It has been some time since the boys of Novice LL3 strapped on the equipment and tied up their skates to play their first full Grand River Local League regular season game.  The coaches had an idea we might have something special after pulling out a 10-2 win in Paris in October.  

The LL3 Wildcats made the trip to Oshawa for their travel tournament. There was plenty of mini sticks, pizza, and fun on the weekend. Travelling Friday into some heavy traffic, the boys got in game 1 vs. a tough team from Nepean. Saturdays games were hard fought losses too. Sunday morning was the final, versus a Listowel Cyclones team. The Wildcats played their best to win the medal & come home with something to show. Everyone would travel home happy(and tired) from a great time away!

The Wildcats are 1 & 1 after starting the playoffs in C Division of the Grand River Local League. A hard fought battle with Twin Centre on Saturday ended with a 3-2 loss. The next day would be a showdown with LL4. The result would be better this time as a 3-2 win was the end result. Playoff games continue on Feb. 21 with game 3 against LL4.
