Game 17 vs Plattsville
The Wildcats made their way to Plattsville on Sunday afternoon. After a loss on Saturday, our boys were again looking to get back to their winning ways against the Rage.
The 1st period was another good start, as Riley D. was up to his old tricks again. Off the opening face off, he found his way to the net for the opener. The lines were changed up for the next face off. LL3 found themselves in found again, & Blake D. had a loose rebound to put in the net. 2-0 after a minute of play! Things would settle down from there, with both teams getting chances. That would be the end of period 1.
Into the second, Coach Randy gathered the boys to say that they were doing great, & to keep it up! Lots more chances would come for Woolwich, again Blake D. found himself in the right place to put in another rebound. Late in the 2nd, a shift got a little long, catching our boys puck watching. Plattsville would get their first goal of the game, making it 3-1.
The Wildcats were really rolling now. The third period saw our boys control the puck at every turn. Riley D. would put in a loose puck for his second of the game. On one of Tyson's many rushes, he put the puck out in front from behind the net, & Carson D. was able to put in the rebound for his 1st ever goal! Everyone was happy on the bench. Shortly there after, Luke S. would get his first of the game. Final score Woolwich 6, Plattsville 1.
