Ending the Season
The Wildcats had a busy weekend to finish their great season. Unfortunately, not with the result we had all hoped for..
Saturdays game was the first of 3 games LL#1 would have on the first weekend of March. Hard work against one of our biggest opponents, LL#4, proved to be not enough as we took a 4 -1 loss.
Sundays game came late in the afternoon. LL#4 was back again, but this time our hard work proved too much for them. Great effort gave our boys a big 2-0 win, leaving a joyful feeling with our group!!
Monday nights game in Wellesley was the last game , against Twin Centre who always give us a good game. The Wildcats fought hard with many chances, but 'Puck Luck' would not go our way. A 4 -1 loss would end the season for our boys.
We can add the it was a very good year of hockey, with many highs and not too many lows. Winning the Woolwich Cup was a great accomplishment. The Wildcats will take their March break now and end the month at the Waterloo Fun Festival Tournament.
