Playoff Game #3
Hi LL#1 fans! Sorry this reporter fell behind in his duties, things got really busy in the last week. A short recap of Game #3, along with a preview of a big weekend ahead are on board for your enjoyment.
Our Saturday Game vs. LL#3 would be a real Woolwich battle. The game would start out fairly even, but then the goals began to come. After 1 period, the score was 1-0 for us. Period 2 would have a score of 3-1 for us, seeing Ryan & Braxten pitching in. The 3rd would get tougher with LL#3 coming back to tie the game at 3. The coaches rallied the boys to stay on their game and go to the net. It proved to pay off as 3 unanswered goals would take command and win us a 6-3 game!
The weekend ahead is the big one. Practice on Friday at 5PM. Game #4 will be in St. Jacobs against Woolwich LL#4 at 11:40. Sundays game vs. LL#4 will be in Elmira at 5:30PM. To finish the round robin, our 6th game will take us to Wellesley vs. Twin Centre on Monday for a 6PM start time. Wish all the luck to our boys to play hard and have fun in the remaining playoff games!!!
