Major Novice A, 2014-2015, Rep (Woolwich Minor Hockey)

Congratulations to the Waters & Hastings Major Novice A team for winning the Tri-County Championship with a hard fought 3-2 victory over Burlington.  The boys finished the season by winning their last 9 games in a row to cap off an amazing year.  Congrats to Justin, Liam, Elijah, Stuart, Pacey, Eric, Michael, Mitch, Isaac, Nate, Ian, Brady, Sammy, Evan & Tyler. Great job Boys!! 

The Major Novice A hockey team wanted to take time today before our game to honor the memory of Austin Whittom. 

The Waters & Hastings Major Novice team went undefeated to win the Bob Merkley Memorial Silver Stick Tournament this past weekend in Midland. The win guaranteed a spot for the team to participate in the International Silver Stick Tournament in St. Claire Shores, Michigan in January.

On Saturday November 29th the Woolwich Wildcats Major Novice A team made a visit to Chartwell Elmira Retirement Residence to show our appreciation for our sponsor Waters & Hastings. The boys served coffee, tea and donuts to the residents but most importantly they got to spend some quality time with the wonderful folks who live at Chartwell.  The remainder of this article was written by Carol Schwartz (Pacey's Mom) who describes exactly what our visit to Chartwell was all about.
