Major Novice A wins the Midland Silver Stick!
The Waters & Hastings Major Novice team went undefeated to win the Bob Merkley Memorial Silver Stick Tournament this past weekend in Midland. The win guaranteed a spot for the team to participate in the International Silver Stick Tournament in St. Claire Shores, Michigan in January.
The Wildcats beat a very good Midland team 3-2 in overtime to capture the championship. The victory followed earlier wins over Orillia (2-0), Innisfil (5-3), Collingwood (2-0), and Uxbridge (3-2 OT).
Congratulations to Stuart, Sam, Ian, Brady, Mitchell, Michael, Pacey, Eric, Nathan, Evan, Liam, Elijah, Isaac, Tyler and Justin.
