2023-2024 U9 MD Evaluations

to the Woolwich Wildcats U9 MD Tryouts!
Hello, my name is Scott Weber and I will be head coach of the U9 MD team for the 2023-2024 season. I'm excited for a year filled with hard work and development for all players individually and together as a team. So lets kick off the flip flops, tape up the sticks and see everyone at the rink!
In order to participate in tryouts, each player must register and pay the fee through the WMHA website.
Upon arrival at the scheduled ice times, please visit the registration table to check in where you will receive a jersey to be worn for the ice time. Jerseys are to be returned to the registration table at the end of each session.
Players will be assessed by several non-biased evaluators based on skating, skill, sportsmanship, and knowledge of the game. Every player will have the opportunity to participate in skills and drills, an inter-squad game, and an exhibition game, prior to any releases being made. If any player is unable to participate in the scheduled ice times they may forfeit their right to be part of the team.
All updates to the schedule or important information for the families will be posted on the U9 MD website, including releases made. Be sure to check the website after each tryout.
