The Dan Snyder Memorial Scholarship is now accepting applications for the 2018 scholarships. As in past years there will be one recipient from each of the following three categories: “Elmira Sugar Kings”, “Woolwich Minor Hockey” and “Woolwich Community at Large”.
In October 2003, local hockey hero Dan Snyder succumbed to injuries as a result of a car crash in Atlanta, Georgia. In Dan’s memory, funds were raised by the NHLPA and other donors and in 2004 the Dan Snyder Memorial Scholarship Fund was born.
