The Dan Snyder Memorial Scholarship is now accepting applications for the 2018 scholarships. As in past years there will be one recipient from each of the following three categories: “Elmira Sugar Kings”, “Woolwich Minor Hockey” and “Woolwich Community at Large”. 

In October 2003, local hockey hero Dan Snyder succumbed to injuries as a result of a car crash in Atlanta, Georgia. In Dan’s memory, funds were raised by the NHLPA and other donors and in 2004 the Dan Snyder Memorial Scholarship Fund was born. Read More

Great game today by all those competing for a spot on the team. Our final tryout will be tomorrow night, May 7, at 6:30 vs New Hamburg. I ask that all players show up an hour before looking as sharp as they did today. Remember to bring warm up clothes and running shoes.
Final releases will be made after tomorrow nights game. They will be posted online on the WMHA website WEDNESDAY MAY 9 @ 6PM.
