Welcome to the Major Peewee A tryouts! My name is Jordan Moore and I will be the head coach for the 2018-2019 season. I look forward to seeing everyone hitting the ice and competing for a spot on the team. Here is a copy of the letter that will be handed out at the tryout tonight:

Coaching Philosophy & Objectives:

TEAM - every player will be taught a team first mentality.

DEVELOPMENT - practices will be structured to work on individual skills and abilities that improve the team’s systems and gameplans.

FUN - hockey is about looking forward to heading to the arena and spending time with your team. Win or lose we will always aim to have every player leave the rink with a smile.
Tryouts:

Releases will be made in a timely manner throughout the tryouts. Players may be released after the second tryout and/or the home exhibition game. Players will be released online through the Woolwich Minor Hockey Association website. Players who are released have the option of an in person meeting after the tryouts to go into further detail.

To access the online roster, go to the Major Peewee A team page on the WMHA website. On the left side of the screen click the TRYOUT RESULTS page and enter the password provided on the pre-tryout letter.
Team Rules & Expectations:

Team dress code will apply for all games, including exhibition games. Dress shirt and tie, no running shoes or hats.

No swearing or bullying.
-
Practices - there will be dryland before every practice, starting 50 minutes before the scheduled ice time.

Games – please arrive an hour before the ice time.
