Game 1 vs. Paris #2
Hello out there Hockey fans! Welcome to the Novice LL#1 Wildcat season. Our first game was to be a fun start for our new team. The Paris Wolf pack would come to town to be our first opponents. With plenty of energy, our Wildcats were ready to go!!
Before the game , Coach Mike had only 1 thing to say. "Lets go out there, do our best, & have FUN!" The Wildcats were excited & nervous to play their 1st regular season game.
The 1st period saw good chances turn into goals. At the 1:22 mark, Jonah S. would get a good shot to start the scoring. Five minutes later, Thomas F. would score his first goal. Paris would answer back their first goal. A 2-1 lead would end the 1st.
Period 2 saw lots more chances for the Wildcats. Thomas F. would get his second of the game, making it 3-1. The Wolf pack kept coming back, as they closed the gap with a goal. A one goal lead went into the 3rd.
LL#1 knew they needed to keep it up. One player working really hard was #13, and Brienne B. was able to score her first goal of the season at the 7:29 mark. The Wildcats continued to take the puck away from Paris. Then with 5:37 left, Carson D. would get one of his many chances to go in. 5-2 for the Wildcats!! That's how it would end. A BIG first win to start the year off right.
