Game 6 vs Twin Centre & Game 7 vs. Plattsville
The LL3 Wildcats would have a 'back to back' game weekend, travelling to 2 other centres. Hoping to turn around the luck, & hungry for a win!
Friday nights matchup would take the team to St. Clements. Excitement filled the dressing room. The same energy went out onto the ice with these Wildcats, as they would play a great game! In the 1st, goals by Thomas & Logan C. would start the 2-0 lead. One goal by Adam B. would fill the middle period. But the gates would open in the 3rd, with 3 more goals from Adam B., 1 again from Logan C. & Thomas F. The final, a 8-2 win!!
Honourable mention goes to Kelan E, who played his best game yet in goal.
Saturday morning came early in the little town of Plattsville. The Wildcats still had some hunger for a another game. And things would start well, as Carson D. would get the opening goal of the period. Plattsville answers back with 2 goals of their own. Before the 1st ended, Carson D. got one more for a 2-2 tie.
The wildcats continued to work hard to get to the puck, getting plenty of scoring chances. but today, Plattville would get the bounces, & their fist win of the year, getting 4 more goals. A 6-2 loss for our kids.
