What a year for the Minor Atom A's
The Minor Atom A Wildcats finished an amazing season on the weekend by winning the OMHA Championship. The team finished the season with a 56-4-8 record that included the boys playing their final 23 games of the season without a loss. The boys won the Regional Silver Stick tournament in Owen Sound in November and then went on to win the International Silver Stick tournament in Newmarket in January.
The team would like to thank our amazing sponsors for all of their support this year. We would also like to thank everyone associated with Woolwich Minor Hockey for their support this year with special mention to Tracey Williams for all her help with our busy playoff schedule. It was an incredible experience for the boys to play their final home game of the season in front of a big Woolwich crowd and thanks to the Sugar Kings for allowing us to use their dressing room for the game.
Congratulations to our players, coaches and our families and friends on a very special season and good luck to all the remaining Woolwich teams that are still battling for a Championship.
