Game 2 vs. Ayr #1
The 1st home game for LL#3 had our boys excited to play. There was great energy in the dressing room for the next opponent, the Ayr Flames.
The first period began with many opportunities for both teams, until the 4:22 mark of the game. Ayr would score first making it 1-0. Our boys continued to work hard to end the 1st.
Into the second, the game began to turn. The Flames scored quickly, getting 3 goals in the first 2 minutes. A lead of 4-0 took some energy out of the Wildcats. But there was no giving up, our guys pushed on. Late into the 2nd, The Flames would get one more to make it 5-0.
Unfortunately, this would not be our day, as the 3rd period would be much like the 2nd, & Ayr would take a 9-0 win. Coach Zehr gave great props to our boys, making sure everyone knew they worked hard.
