Organization - Local League Coaches, Trainers, and Convenors Needed!
Submitted By Jeff McDowell on Tuesday, September 3, 2019
We are looking for additional coaches, assistant coaches, trainers and convenors at all levels of Local League and Select.  I'd like to thank all the coaches who have filled out applications for the 2019 season already, but we definitely need more.  Specifically:

Atom
- Assistant Coaches - LL and Select
- trainers - LL and Select

Peewee
- Convenor
- Coaches - LL and Select
- Assistant Coaches - LL and Select
- Trainers - LL and Select

Bantam
- Convenor
- Coaches - LL and Select
- Assistant Coaches - LL and Select
- Trainers - LL and Select

Midget
- Convenor
- Coaches - LL and Select
- Assistant Coaches - LL and Select
- Trainers - LL and Select

The Convenor role while important, is not particularly time consuming throughout the season once we are past season start up.  Duties include co-coordinating evaluation skates and assisting VP LL in putting bench staff in place.  Should also help coaching staff select teams and ensure teams are balanced.  Throughout the year the convenor will act mostly as a liason between coaches and the league.

First time coach or trainer?  No problem.  I am more than happy to help you navigate the coaching credentials program.  Local League and Select require Coach 2 certification.

Would love to hear from you!  Any questions please email me at [email protected]
-Jeff

PS reminder: Evaluation skate starts weekend of September 13th, we'd love to have most of the bench staff identified by that date.
