Tryout Information
Hello, my name is Tyler Martin and I will be the head coach of the U13A team for the 2025/26 season. The U13 coaching staff is very excited for this upcoming season, striving to elevate each and every kids game to the next level but most importantly forming a group that can work together to to achieve what we know they’re capable of.

“Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success.”

Tryouts will consist of:  3- Tryout skates (Skills, Inter squad games), 2- Exhibition games  Vs CW
•Please refer to the woolwich Website for tryout/game times  •https://woolwichminorhockey.ca/Pages/12241/Tryout_Schedule_(2)/

•Tryout skates please visit the check in table which will be located in the lower concourse of the area, attended by a staff, volunteer or executive member to pick up your jersey. Please confirm with them which positions you are trying out for/willing to play aswell as which way you shoot and where you’re from. After each tryout skate jerseys are to be returned to the check in table.

•Throughout tryouts players will be evaluated by multiple non-baised hockey minds as-well as coaching staff. Players will be assessed based on effort level, skating, skills, sportsmanship, and general hockey IQ. Each player will have 2 guaranteed skates prior to that start of releases. Each player must signup and pay registration fee prior to first tryout. Notifications/updates/lineups/and releases will be made through the team website.

Good luck to all players trying out, we can’t wait to be back in the arena and see what you’ve got! Any questions or concerns throughout tryouts feel free to reach out via email [email protected]
