Hello,
My name is Jake Schill I will be the head coach for the U12A team this 2025/26 season. The U12A coaching staff is very excited to get this season started and are looking forward to tryouts beginning on May 4th.
Tryouts will consist of the following
Two (2) Tryout skates
Two (2) Exhibition Games vs Centre Wellington
One (1) Final Tryout Skate/Practice – TBD

Players, please arrive minimum of thirty (30) minutes prior to the scheduled tryout skate times so you have time to grab your jerseys and sign in at the front table and one (1) hour before the exhibition games. No dress code will be in place for the exhibition games, however, bring warm up clothes as you will need those. Players are to be dressed ten (10) minutes before both tryout skates and exhibition games to allow the coaches time to go over instructions with the players before hitting the ice.
Players will be assessed based on work ethic, listening ability, skating, skills, sportsmanship and hockey IQ.
Each player will have a guarantee of two (2) tryout skates before any releases are made.
Each player must sign up and pay registration fee prior to the first tryout.
Players are encouraged to come to the rink with a positive attitude, ready to work hard and have fun. We understand tryouts can be a stressful time and we encourage you to reach out if you have any questions as we go through this process. Coach Jake can be reached at
