The Dan Snyder Memorial Foundation is dedicated to providing scholarship opportunities to young athletes, to assist in the pursuit of their goals. In recent years, the Foundation fully supported the fundraising efforts for the Woolwich Memorial Recreation Centre, opened in Dan's hometown of Elmira Ontario in 2009. Today, the Foundation sponsors local athletic events, sports camps, and sports teams in an effort to honour Dan's memory and to help build and foster an active community.
