Woolwich Minor Hockey Association is pleased to announce the
local league program for the 2021/2022 season that we know many of you have
been waiting for.
Note that we are still looking for coaches to fill the following:
U11 : potentially a coach
for LL and Select
U13: at least 1 LL coach
U15: A Select coach
U18: 3-4 LL coaches +
Select coach.
The local league season will start Friday Oct 8 for many age
groups, the day after the last AE tryout.
The first scheduled ice time for each age group by surname is:
U9 - Novice
A-M Sat Oct 9 8:30am-9:20am @ St Jacobs arena
N-Z Sat Oct 9 9:30am-10:20am @ St Jacobs arena
U11 - Atom

U13 - Peewee

Entry to the arena will be allowed 15 minutes before your ice time.

As with other years, the format will be as follows for U11 -> U18: ·
3 Evaluation ice times per age group for coaches to organize teams (scheduled below) ·
Team practices 1-2 weeks following team selection ·
Regular season likely to start early November and run until March break ·
Playoffs likely to start after March break ·
We are joining with Centre Wellington again for year 2 of our 2 year commitment (this means opponents will be from Woolwich and Centre Wellington) ·
U11 + U13 will receive roughly 1 practice and 1 game per week ·
U15 will receive roughly 1 practice and 3 games per two weeks ·
U18 will receive roughly 2 games per week

Note that for DAY 1, players/coaches do not need to show any vaccination records. However all spectators 12+ must present ID + proof of double vaccination to enter the building.
