LL Midget Coaches and Trainers needed! - UPDATED
Submitted By Jeff McDowell on Monday, September 16, 2019
Midget Local League evaluations are scheduled to start on Wednesday Sept 18th but we are well short of our requirements for coaches and trainers as we expect to have 4 teams this year.

We realize MD tryouts are still ongoing so I'm sure many of you are awaiting the results, but it would be great to hear from you either way if you are willing to help out.
One thing that might help is the fact we will not be looking to have practices at the Midget level this year.  We feel at this level we should just let the players play games (typically one weeknight game, one weekend game).  So if managing a bench appeals to you more than drawing up practice plans, then perhaps this is your year to get involved!
EDIT: sorry I've heard this wasn't totally clear.  This year we will only play games at the Midget Level.  Teams will still receive 2 ice times a week, but instead of 1 game 1 practice it will be 2 games per week.  We're looking at around 32 regular season games with another 6 to 8 games for playoffs.  No ice time will be lost.

At this point we need 3 head coaches, 4 trainers, and at least 3 assistant coaches.
We look forward to hearing from you.
