2019-2020 Local League
WMHA is excited to announce that for the upcoming season we will be creating an interlock league with Centre Wellington. While home games will continue to be played in Emira and St. Jacobs, our away games will be played in Elora and Fergus. We do plan on getting started slightly earlier this year and we will be scheduling evaluation ice times starting the weekend of September 14th with teams being rostered by the following weekend. I'd like to thank everyone who participated in the recent poll we did on this matter, the feedback was critical in making this decision.

Another exciting announcement is our formation of a new Select tier for Local League players.  These teams will get an additional 3 ice times per month (inc. games and practices) and will participate in an additional 2 to 3 tournaments per year.  We hope to start tryouts for the Select teams in last week of September or first week of October.

Finally, while we have received a number of coaching applications for LL teams already (thank you), we are still very much in need of coaches and conveners in all divisions.  If you are interested in coaching please fill out a coaching application here.  If you are interested in helping out as division convener please email me at localleague@woolwichminorhockey.ca.  The convener role is critical to getting the season off to a smooth start, but definitely does not require as much time and effort as a coach throughout the course of a season.  I would love to hear from you.
