INITIATION PLAYERS - IP6 Players (Born: 2012)
Welcome to our IP6 Players! We are looking forward to an exciting 2018-19 Season. IP6 DETAILS
Our IP6 Program (Initiation Program 6) is for those players born in 2012 or earlier.
The start up of this Program begins as follows:
**PLEASE ARRIVE AT OUR CHECK IN TABLE 30 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR ICE TIME FOR THE FIRST 3 ON ICE SESSIONS**
1) On Saturday, September 22, 2018, there will be a start up skate for all of our IP6 Players. It will be from 10:00-11:00am at the WMC, McLeod Ice Pad.
2) On Friday, September 28, 2018, there will be another start up skate for our IP6 players. It will be from 5:30-6:30pm at the WMC, Snyder Ice Pad.
3) On Saturday, September 29, 2018, there will be a start up skate for all of our IP6 Players. It will be from 10:00-11:00am at the WMC, McLeod Ice Pad.
**YOUR PLAYER WILL REQUIRE FULL EQUIPMENT AND A JERSEY FOR THE INITIAL START UP SKATES. THEY WILL BE GIVEN THEIR OWN TO JERSEY TO USE FOR THE SEASON, ONCE THE PLAYERS ARE DIVIDED INTO GROUPS, FOLLOWING THE 3rd SKATE**
These sessions will be run by our Coaches and Conveners - there will be Coaches on and off the ice evaluating the players'. The goal behind the evaluations are to divide the players into like "skill" level, providing each player with a comfortable learning environment to assist with their Development and to have fun!
AFTER the skate on September 29, 2018, you will be contacted by a Coach/Convener who will let you know what group you are with and who your on ice Coaches will be.
Our IP5 are on the ice 2 x's per week - on Friday evenings and Saturday mornings. These sessions will take place at the WMC - Wednesday on the Snyder Ice Pad and Saturday mornings on the McLeod Ice Pad.
Beginning in January 2019 (exact dates to be determined), the IP6 groups will be playing in exhibition "games" with other Centres, so the schedule may change (day/time) slightly. More details to come later in the year.
