Initiation and Pre-Novice Changes
In an effort to further align our Development Programs with the Ontario Minor Hockey Association and Hockey Canada guidelines, as well as provide our youngest players with an improved development experience, WMHA has made the decision to change our programming for our Initiation (ages 4-5) and Pre Novice (age 6) divisions.

As well as some changes to the actual on ice programming, we have changed the name of our divisions.

Our Initiation Program will now be known as IP4 and IP5.

Our Pre Novice Program will now be known as IP6.

Our goal is to provide a more structured season for our players and to provide our Families with clearer expectations on what to expect for scheduling and "game like' situations for our players.

The schedule for our IP4, IP5 and IP6 divisions will be posted on our website very shortly.

We will also be posting additional information on what parents can expect for the season  - as well, as equipment requirements for our brand new players.

For more information, visit our Initiation Program page.

Any questions about the IP divisions, please contact Rob Hall our VP Of Development at [email protected]
