Nominate a Coach for the George Parson Coaching Award - nominations due Thurs, April 20th.
This annual award will be presented to one individual within our association who holds a volunteer position within a coaching staff.  All staff are eligible, including head coaches, assistant coaches, trainers and managers.

About George Parson

The award is in the name of George Parson, a long time WMHA hockey Dad and former WMHA coach.  George had a passion for hockey and instilling a lifelong love of the game to those he was involved with.  He made many contributions to Woolwich Minor hockey for a number of years and always had a positive and memorable impact on the staff he worked with and players he developed, both on and off the ice.  This award is a thank you to the recipient for their commitment and dedication to the players, the Woolwich Minor Hockey Association and the love of the game.

The Parson family will award the recipient a cheque for $250 and a plaque engraved with their name, which will be on display in the Trophy case upstairs in the Dan Snyder Arena.
