Deadline Extended - WMHA Sponsor Appreciation Contest

To ensure full participation from all teams, we have extended the submission deadline to Sunday, December 7th at midnight. Voting will commence on Facebook at 12:01 on December 8th and will continue until midnight on December 20th. Prizes will be awarded on December 21st.

As an organization we rely heavily on the continued support of our sponsors. Without their support, the cost of playing hockey would be out of reach for many Woolwich Minor Hockey families. In recognition of our appreciation we are launching the first annual Sponsor Appreciation Contest.

The task of each Woolwich Minor Hockey team is to create a FUN & CREATIVE way to honour their sponsor!! In return, there are some great prizes...

HOW TO ENTER:

Take some time, do your homework and research your sponsor. What do they do? How do they contribute to the community? Use this information and create a publicity picture that your sponsor would be proud to use in the promotion of their cause/ business.

  1. ONE team member (with a Facebook account) submits the photo on the WMHA facebook page located at this link:  WHMA Contest Page. The photo can be in JPG, GIF, or PNG formats, but please make sure the resolution is at least 150 dpi.
  2. As of December 7th at midnight, the submissions will be automatically posted on the Woolwich Minor Hockey Facebook page for the community to vote on.
  3. Voting is open to all Facebook users, but is limited to one vote per IP address per day. The WMHA webmaster will send a link to your team manager that parents and players can post on their Facebook wall to encourage friends and family to vote for their team pic.
