2013 Golf Tournament A Great Success

Despite the inclement weather conditions on the morning of September 7th, 66 golfers brave the conditions at Conestoga Country Club to support the WMHA.

As you will see from this photo, conditions were favourable for burying the golf ball - great job Mrs. Goebel!

A big thanks goes out to Conestoga for allowing us to tee off and get at least nine holes in. Conestoga has provided 9 hole passes to all golfers who were unable to complete their full 18 holes. Golfers, you can pick up your pass at the Minor Hockey Office the next time you are at the rink. The passes are valid until June 2014.

After a soggy nine holes, we hardy golfers retired to the clubhouse for a steak dinner, a few drinks, and many laughs. In the end, it was a fun day that raised more than $8000 for the WMHA! Thanks to all the golfers for your support.
