First Shift - VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!!
We are looking for volunteers for our upcoming NHL/NHLPA First Shift program.  First Shift is an introductory hockey program for kids and we are thrilled to be chosen as a First Shift Centre again this year.

We need volunteers, both on and off the ice to make our Winter session another successful event.

Our Welcome "Kick Off" Event for our Winter Session takes place on Monday February 12 in the Concourse Room at the WMC (meeting room between the two rinks).

Our first "on ice" session is Saturday March 2 at 1pm on our McLeod Ice Pad.

ON ICE INSTRUCTORS
We require "On Ice" Instructors for our sessions that begin on March 2 and run for 6 consecutive Saturdays at 1pm on our McLeod ice pad, as follows:

March 2
March 9
March 16
March 23
March 30
April 6

In order to qualify to be an On Ice Instructor, you must:

*Be rostered on a Woolwich team as a Coach, Assistant Coach, Trainer or Manager; OR
*Be rostered on another sanctioned Association's team (ie - Woolwich Wild, Waterloo Wolves, etc..) and provide us with a copy of an up to date police check (obtained in the last 3 years)
*Be rostered on a Woolwich team or another sanctioned Association team as a player or goaltender

OFF ICE VOLUNTEERS
We need help at our Welcome Event, checking in and registering our First Shift Participants. We also need help at each of our on ice sessions to answer any questions about the Program and help with check in.
