BB Programming for 2023-24 Season - Town Hall Meeting 2.0
BB Town Hall 2.0

Due to the OMHA’s new regulation, that removes body checking from U14 and above in BB Hockey, the WMHA Executive would like to hold another Town Hall style meeting to explain our Association’s choices for BB hockey next season and field questions about this change.

The meeting will focus on this specific topic only.

Our goal after the meeting, is to hold a defined Membership vote to determine how we would like to proceed with our BB programming for the 2023-24 Season.

Although all Members are welcome to attend, this will be of particular interest to those who have players at U14 and above, who may be participating in BB hockey next season. The BB decision for the 2023-24 season may impact those at younger ages; however, these types of regulations tend to change from year to year, and what we face this upcoming season, may be different next season.

The voting platform will be opened to all Members that attend the Town Hall. You will receive a unique code/link so you may vote on the topic, following the meeting (please allow 48 hours after the meeting to receive your code).

Here are the details of the meeting:

Date: Tuesday, April 11th, 2023

Time: 7:00pm

Location: WMC - Concourse Room (upstairs, between the two ice pads)

**PLEASE NOTE: this is not a meeting to discuss team structure for next season. As discussed in the previous BB Town Hall, the team intentions will be based on Registration numbers. If you have not registered yet, please do so asap. Thank you.**
