The WMHA Diversity and Inclusion Committee would like to thank the teams that participated in The Hockey for All Challenge. Unfortunately we did not have many teams participate but for those that did you set the bar of effort very high. Hockey for all is a mission to make hockey more diverse, more inclusive and more accessible and with your participation you have become allies and advocates for that mission. Woolwich Minor Hockey is very proud. We look forward to running this initiative again and for more teams to participate.
The Committee has decided to award the winner the $250 for a
team party and to also award all three teams that participated $100 towards a
community initiative that promotes inclusivity and diversity in hockey so we
can continue to promote Hockey for All.
