Hello, and welcome to the 2021-22 Woolwich Wildcats U13 “AE” Season.
My name is Mike Wraight, and I will be the Head Coach for the upcoming season.
The first tryout ice time is scheduled for Saturday October 2nd from 2:45 – 4:00pm on the Snyder ice pad at Woolwich Memorial Centre. Please check the website beforehand as tryout dates and/or times may change.
All players must be registered for hockey and have completed the Tryout Pass before they will be permitted to practice in the Tryouts. That can be done through your HCR 3.0 account. The cost for Tryouts Pass is $50. Cash will NOT be accepted at the arena.
Upon arrival for the Tryout ice time, players must report to the sign in table to relieve their assigned jersey, which must be returned at the end of each tryout. Also, please ensure you receive a tryout letter for further information about the tryout schedule and process.
Parents, you will need to complete the Arena Sign-In, provide proof of second dose vaccine, plus a piece of valid ID to be allowed into the arena. There is a QR code for this on the website home page and at the entrance to the arena.
Players are expected to put fourth their best efforts throughout the tryout process. Players are also encouraged to come to the rink with a positive attitude, ready to work hard and have fun.
Please be sure to keep you child at home and notify myself immediately if your child is experiencing any symptoms of Covid-19 and/or is sick. Please be sure to check the WMHA Website for information regarding the OHMA Covid-19 Vaccination Policy, the 2021-2022 OHF Return to Hockey Framework, and the facility rules for St. Jacobs and WMC.
