Wildcats defeat New Hamburg Huskies #3 by a score of 7-3

Atom LL#1 Wildcats travelled up Highway 8 to the Wilmot Recreation Complex on Sunday October 21st. The Wildcats brought their "A" game and jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first period. The Huskies kept trying to claw back into the game and though they scored a couple, Kelan English shut the door with some key saves. The Wildcats offence fired up again in the 3rd and quickly scored a few more to restore a comfortable lead.

A number of players stepped up their game today against the Huskies which forced the coaches to make a tough decision. There were some great defensive plays, and some highlight reel goals for Zion Shadd today though, and he was awarded the Golden Jersey for his effort. Congrats Zion!
