Belle River Tournament Update
Although we didn't catch many breaks in the Belle River tournament and with a beat up shortened bench, the boys battled hard and played 4 solid games. The highlight was the Detroit Red Wings vs Nashville Predators game at Joe Louis arena Saturday night. A chance encounter with Cindi Holland, wife of Detroit Red Wing GM Ken Holland resulted in a meet and greet with Detroit's #8 Justin Abdelkader after the game. After meeting Justin, everyone headed down for a tour of the Red Wing dressing room for pictures and video. It was a once in a lifetime experience for the Wildcats. All in all, a fun weekend with lots of lifetime memories made with teammates and friends!
