Minor Atom A Wildcats cap season with Tri-County Silver!
The Minor Atom A Wildcats put their final touches on a strong season by taking the Silver Medal in the Tri-County Minor Atom A Final.
The Melloul Blamey Minor Atom A Wildcats emerged from the Tri-County round robin to face off against the Milton Winterhawks in the Best of 5 Final.
The boys played hard throughout the series which saw the home team win every game. The Wildcats fell 6-2 in the opener then bounced back with a solid 2-1 victory in game 2. Game 3 was a defensive battle with Milton emerging with a tight 1-0 win. The Wildcats flexed some muscle in game 4, coming away with a 4-0 win. Game 5 was a see-saw affair that was tied at 2 going into the third period. Milton gained the upper hand and when the final buzzer sounded, they claimed a 4-2 victory.
Congratulations go out to Keenan, Denver, Jordan, Isaiah, Sam, Parker, Drew, Ethan, Will, Joey, Eric, Evan L, Cade, Evan C and Nate. 3 Tournament victories (Markham Waxers Early Bird, Silver Stick Regional and Nations Cup) and Silver medalists in the league final! We are proud of your hard work this season.
