WMHA Looking to Fill Executive Positions
The WMHA Executive is looking to fill two paid positions and several volunteer positions for the 2015-2016 hockey year. The following positions are now open:

1) Paid Positions

Woolwich Minor Hockey is looking to fill two paid positions that may be combined into a single role for the right individual. Forward your resume by email only, indicating in the subject line the position(s) you are applying for, to Rob Waters, President, Woolwich Minor Hockey ([email protected]). Resumes will be accepted until April 20th, 2015. No phone calls please.

Office Administrator

Often the first point of contact for parents, the Office Administrator must represent the best interests of the WMHA in a professional and courteous manner. This part-time role requires in-office hours weekly during hockey season, and as needed during the off-season. Some evenings and Saturdays are required throughout the year. A minimum of 10 hours per week, with a substantial increase during peak times is anticipated, and you must be flexible to meet varying demands throughout the year.  Duties include registration of players, fielding inquiries, and generally supporting the WMHA membership. Excellent computer skills are required (MS Word, Excel), and the proven ability to use database-driven software is a must.

Ice Scheduler

The Ice Scheduler works with many different points of contact to schedule all Representative and Local League games and practices. You must be comfortable using email and telephone to work with other schedulers and with coaches, thereby requiring superlative communication and organization skills. Hours are varied depending on the time of year, and you must be flexible and able to react quickly to all requests. This role requires minimum 10 hours per week, but can require up to 30 hours per week (including weekends) during the September, January, and February timeframes.

2) Volunteer Positions

The following volunteer positions are now open on the executive and will be voted in at the upcoming AGM on April 16th:
  • Tournament Director
  • Sponsorship Director
  • VP of Coaching
If you are interested in any of these positions or would like details, please contact Rob Waters ([email protected]).
